Firehouse Poetry held their first show September of 2022 inside the Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Station. After I had the privilege to experience live raw poetry for the first time inside my kitchen after an event. An amazing Baltimore Poet named Da Truth Da Poet delivered a poem in front of about 15; it wasn't scheduled, it wasn't expected, it was just the vibe of the moment. This impromptu performance would change my view of Poetry forever. From then on I began attending events in and around Baltimore and grew a desire to bring my experience to the town where I lived.

 

  After pairing with Truth I began learning the framework necessary to begin the journey towards creating my own poetry event. After learning from the best....
